A Few words from Phiner Dike-Jelden
I was born in a major city in Nigeria, to the most classy parents, ever! My siblings & I are privileged  to have Mr. & Mrs. Dike as our parents. My parents were the most disciplinarians folks that my siblings and I know of.  I'm the oldest of seven children and to be the oldest means you have to be the best by setting a good example to your younger siblings. My parents were one of the most industrious people that I know of. My father was an architectural engineer while my mother owned a supermarket, sold nothing but the best quality produce ever. This is where my love of cooking  at a tender age of seven began by helping Mary, our chef who was one of the best cook ever!  My mother made sure  that my school work was completed before I can cook for the family on Mary's off days. In our family's household my parents made sure the following exists: love, kindness, compassion, weekly mass attendance (we are devout catholic & nothing comes before God in our household), morning & night prayer, admiration for others, respect for self & others, good food, very clean house, gratitude, work ethics, morals, values , pure mind  & Faith in God. We did not make time to speak ill of others or lies about others as my grand mother says that causes Alzheimer's disease.   My parents chose our friends at early age making sure they came from a good home like ours. No party going was allowed without my parents coming along with me! My siblings & I went to all girls & boys catholic schools. After my high school graduation, my parents wanted to send me  to London, England for my college. But, I chose America and of all places in the USA, Cleveland Ohio?  Because, my parents had the final say so, since they were the ones paying for my education.  I received my BSC in public administration & mass communication. Within few years in America, I got myself involved in the Cleveland community and started volunteering some of my time with young teens that ran away from home (safe space). I purchased foods with my own money and thought them how to cook.  I was on the board of director for juvenile diabetes foundation. Then got involved with the hospitalized veterans in Cleveland by visiting them with flowers the visit to the VA really made me sick, for there's no reason for WAR!!!  Some of my other community support included: March of Dimes, an organization to improve the Health of babies,

the Cleveland Ballet, the opening of the Allen Theatre, the Alzheimer's association, Harvest for Hunger, these were few of the charities I was involved with and loved every bit of it.  I cooked quite a bit of meals enough servings for at least 300 people free of charge for the annual events and loved every bit of it. I will forever be grateful to God for my parents for the spirit of giving and sharing, there's no greater joy in life than doing good to others. I really believe this is why no one in my family ever gets sick! My parent' s believe that the only way to be healthy is having a package of eating good food, exercise, living a clean lifestyle, doing good to others  so that the good Lord will always direct our path of Life.
My siblings and I can't thank God enough everyday for our parent's upbringing.
